I painted Jerry from a black & white picture of him. I also had some poor color images to work from. I based colors and especially his eyes on my experience with this sheperd / husky breed. His owner was gifted this portrait. She cried and said it looked just like him. I was relieved! Jerry was a lead dog for a petsitting business.
